Pakistan is an affected country of climate change. Flash floods, heatwaves, droughts, smog in winters, melting glaciers in the Karakorum, forest fires in summers, landslides in monsoon – all are causing massive displacements, food, and water crisis. To involve students in our effort to address climate change, we are commencing Pakistan’s first Green School Program – GSP, in collaboration with World Wide Fund for Nature – WWF. Designed on yearly bases, it accommodates and teaches students of early, primary, middle, and secondary levels on indigenous environmental challenges with global dimensions.
